This site is supposed to be used as entertainment. It is a non-religous webpage, we accept confessions from everybody no matter what gender, color, religion, politics, carbrand, tieknot or whatever. Everybody that has commited a sin can confess here. (as long as you follow the "rules of confession") All submissions becomes the property of www.internetconfession.com. www.internetconfession.com is not responsible for anything that comes from a user (confessions, comments, proposal of better karma, a sentence of wisdom and what more it can be), but we will work hard to keep it clean.

As we can understand when confessing about something here doesn´t mean that you will confess to anybody what you´ve been doing, so that´s why we rank your privacy above everything else at this site.

When you have made your confession you have a choice of giving us your e-mailadress, we want it for 4 reasons as listed below:

* So that we can mail you if your confession didnt made it to the homepage (The confession has to be granted for the site, see rules of confession.)
* So that we can e-mail you when your confession has made it to the homepage
* So that we can give you the ID-number of your sin so you easier can find it later among the others
* If we need to contact you if you have won anything from us (If we dont have you e-mail the prize or giveaway will go to another confessor)

When you use the "Tell-A-Friend"-function your friends email will not be saved in any of our archives, their e-mail will only be used that one time and no more.

WE WILL NOT SALE, TRADE OR SHOW ANYONE ELSE YOUR E-MAILADRESS, WE WILL ONLY NEED IT TO REACH YOU

SECOND STEP -> After the confession had been submitted and granted by us it will go to the "judgementarea" and there it will stay for a 24 hour voting time. You can read the rules here -> RULES OF “JUDGEMENTAREA”. People vote here for the confessor to realize how big of a sin he has commited. It´s open for everybody to vote as long as you stick to the rules.

The time it will take to get granted can sometime be different, this because it is made by a human being and not a computer or some cool programming, we want it right you know. The voting of a confession in this area starts at 00:00 and goes on until 24 hours has passed, so if you confessed at tuesday morning at 07:00 and you get granted at 17:05 the same day it will get in the next votingsession that will start at midnight, if it gets granted after midnight it has missed that session and will come in at the next one.

THIRD STEP -> After a confession has taken som heat in the judgementarea it will end up in the "Read Confession", now it´s up to you to either make a COMMENT, PROPOSAL FOR BETTER KARMA or make a SENTENCE OF WISDOM (or just read), and of course there are some rules that applies here as well, please read the -> RULES OF “READ CONFESSIONS”. And dont forget, keep the POSITIVE-HELPING-part of the brain activated, HAVE FUN!

No use of real names
In your confession you can not use real names of real people, you are allowed to use John Doe or Jane Doe unless the person is´nt named that. Its your responsibility.

We want the truth and nothing but the truth
This is NOT a chase for the biggest score in the "Judgementarea" so you must keep the confession as the sin was, that means 100% truthful (Any mythomaniac is allowed to confess but are strictly adviced not to since it will lead to a bad cycle for them and for us, equation: Lie = Sin and against the rules = Go to Confession<-Lie in Confession = Sin = Go to Confession again and so on...you get the picture).

English only
We only want confessions on english, as easy as that.

Make it easy to read, no one is interested in reading a long text that doesnt leave room for breathing, so before you submit have a look at it and think about how nice it will be to read. I remember in school when we learned how to make review´s of articles and stories, try the same you to. Write your confession and then read it over again and try to se if you can take away some unnecessary information, that is one of the key to an easy confession. Also dont use only capitals and try not to repeat yourself over and over again in the start of a new sentence (common writing rules for a better reading applies).

We will not grant any confessions that has an URL or an e-mailadress in it, if you need to use a URL or e-mailadress for example the you are allowed to call it either www.johndoenet.jd and johndoe@jd.jd (well it should´nt be necessary but now you have an option)

About sexual content
If you have a confession with a sexual ingridient we would like to know that, but how the sex was performed does´nt fit here, keep it friendly even for childs to read.

Common sense
Common sense applies on everything on this site. Don´t be rude against anyone, remember this site is supposed to clean your soul so try to think positive all time in here. (out there as well)

Cheating for higher score
We will almost immediate see if cheating is involved in the voting (even if there is´nt much to win at it), if we see that a confession that has a minimum sin-value like a bad thought and a very high BAD KARMA voting, there must be something wrong with it, that´s when we can go in and reduce the points from the voting. Enough of that, we believe that you people are honest so we hope that anti-cheating actions wont be necessary.

Comments
When you comment on confessions make it positive, even thoug it´s a hard-to-forgive-sin you should´nt go to rough at the sinner, remember he has confessed to feel better about it. (example CONFESSION: I have..... COMMENT: Oh man, that´s a shitty thing to do, but hey dude, now when you´ve reached the bottom it can only go upwards!)

Proposal for better karma
Here you write proposals for better karma. (example: CONFESSION: Yesterday I drove over an little old lady, it was when I.......... PROPOSAL FOR BETTER KARMA: Ok man, for adjusting your karmalevel now you will need to either help like 100000 little old ladies over the road or when in prison for the next 20 years or so you can write to as many liltte old ladies as possible informing them about crossing a road without risk in the fastest way possible).

A sentence of wisdom
This is supposed to be used as it sounds, ONE SENTENCE (example: CONFESSION: I stole a purse last night....... A SENTENCE OF WISDOM can then be: Return the purse and you will get a piece of your soul back)

Common sense
Dont forget that negative thinking is just bad karma, let us use the positive-helping-part of the brain (it´s located just beside the well-that-mo#"!*"¤#¤-can-go-and-"#¤%-himself-part, so it´s easy to think with that part by mistake, but please try to use the positive one.
