Proteins are essential organic compounds that are composed of twenty or more amino acids joined by peptide bonds. This is the reason why they are so important and necessary for our daily activities.
Human body needs to be provided in a daily basis with a certain amount of proteins, if the body does not receive the daily dose of proteins, it looks for them on the tissues, causing in this way the disintegration of organic proteins and the loss of muscular mass.

Also, the deficiency of proteins on the basic diet of kids can cause them growth retardation. Although the absence of proteins can cause many health problems, also the excess of proteins can cause health problems such as:

•  Overstrain on liver and kidneys.

•  Physical exhaustion.

•  They contribute on the repair and construction of the cellular structures, fingernails, muscles, tissues.

•  They provide the body with the necessary essential amino acids for the tissular synthesis.

•  They are essential for growth.

•  They constitute raw material assembly of hormones, hemoglobin, vitamins, enzymes, plasmatic proteins and digestive juices.

•  They allow cellular motion by means of actinia.

•  They act as a defense, the antibodies are natural proteins that are present in blood and they react to infectious agents

•  They also act as biologic catalysts.

You can include proteins in your daily diet by including on it elements such as: fish, milk, dried fruit, cheese and vegetables.
